BRYDES OF TACHO

The Goddess Tacho is the protector of roads, lay-bys and resting places. Her devoted brydes undergo an intense and highly spiritual training regime, where on completion, they receive the ceremonial helmet, often a likeness of the Goddess herself and always enscribed with the sacred pictorgams.

The Sow is a roving ritual undertaken by the Brydes and is carried out over a number of days. Adorned in dried seeding foliage, The Sow, helps to keep the verges and laybys blooming with plants for vehicular use.
